hey, i started a podcast:

look: it’s my eighty millionth blog!
i chose this template because it was called ‘tickle’ and that makes me want to throw up a little.

i was thinking about how much things have changed in a year, and where i was last year and decided to do a little recap:
about one year ago:

- i had pneumonia
- i started watching the AFI top 100 movies, IDA’s top 20 documentaries and alfred hitchcock’s entire catalog… and crossing them off a giant list that at this point feels like it will never end, but i think i’m actually more than halfway through them all. (though i don’t think i can ever watch a pre 1930’s alfred hitchcock movie. i have tried five times now, and i have failed five times now.)
- i designed a dunny for kid robot [which they still haven't produced and i think they may never - it was really the only project i did during the entire duration of my two month sickness]
- i didn’t have finches yet
- i shoveled a lot of snow
- i got acupuncture for the first time
- i played the worst snoozer show ever, it is catastrophically historic. (my moog broke during the first 20 seconds of my set)
- i was in a really awesome valentine’s day show at motel gallery in portland, or
- i recorded a tuscadero cover for a teenbeat tribute compilation
- i got over pneumonia
- i saw the gates (sort of)

next year, remind me to do another recap of what life was like right around now.
